Coupons....

Yesterday I actually went to the store and bought the newspaper so I could start clipping coupons! Then I decided I needed to go head first, so today we went to Walmart, I bought an awesome binder, baseball card holders, and all the other wonderful things I have read you need to have a "great coupon binder" I did a month subscription to The Coupon Game, so we shall see. After doing the research I can't believe I didn't do this before, but no need to be hard on myself because I am about to save some serious money!

It's been a pretty calm weekend. Nick has been with my parents since yesterday morning and the house is so much quieter! He tends to "start" things with the other ones and then they fight with each other. It amazes me how nicely Danny and Lily play together when they are alone. You can really tell they are twins! So cute!

So yesterday we went out to eat, Lou's of course, who doesn't love their pizza! Then we come home, everyone is in bed at about 6:45, we went to the drive in the night before and they were exhausted! So the hubby and I actually got to watch a movie, and I didn't fall asleep! Amazing how sleepy I am, I guess it goes along with being preggo's and keeping up with 4 little ones! Then the phone rings at about 9:35, it is Nicholas, asking me to drive over my good luck care bear to him (did I mention my parents live 50 minutes away!) He has been having bad dreams lately and wanted to bring the bear thinking it would help. So we settled on him making a dream catcher (yes we searched e-bay for them thinking it may help with the dreams- actually I think it has, the best $2.99 I have spent!) He did o.k. I guess, I talked to him this morning and he was good to go, which is good. I actually was thinking of driving it over to him, I felt so bad. Bad dreams are horrible as an adult, but a little kid- poor guy!!!

So really that was my weekend in a nut shell... nothing exciting but that made it nice. I love being on the go, but sometimes you need a weekend just to do nothing!

My first blogging attempt!

So I got this magazine the other day from my sons school, and as with any new magazine, what a great excuse to take a bath! I am reading through it and stumble across this article about moms who blog and this contest they won... so the following morning, being I have nothing else to do, the laundry is done and put away, dinner is in the crock pot, the lawn is mowed... ok even now I am making myself laugh, thinking, IF ONLY!!! So anywho, I looked up the mom whose article grapped me! I can so relate with her! She has 6 children, and she truly just reminded me of myself! So I sat down looked her up! I guess I was on the computer for longer then I intended because I am hearing "MOMMY" a little too often! So I bookmarked it, and have been back many times to read her blog! So thank you Tiffany, a mommy in Texas with 6 little ones, for inspiring me to try my own blog! And a HUGE thank you, from my hubby too, for the information on coupons! I can't believe I am saying this, but in a few years I am going to have FIVE teenagers in my house, that I have to FEED! OH my! So besides hopefully, meeting a new online friend, because I took the time to look her up, I will also be saving money by starting my new hobby of "couponing!"

Ok, well after doing this, and waiting the 5 minutes for my one picture to load, I now have 5 minutes before I have to go and pick up Nick... that is not the issue, the issue is Lily's hair is not done. Most people don't understand this, I will post pictures of my daughter's beautiful hair BEFORE I get a chance to do it in the morning!
